Heritage Celebration
Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July at Christ Church
Two days of fun and activities for all ages are on offer next month as part of the Discover Christ Church! project.
The Heritage Celebration takes place on 6 and 7 July, with a full programme of events running from 10am - 7pm on the Saturday, and 10am - 3pm on the Sunday. Among the activities are:
Embroidery: Have a go at our Christ Church inspired embroidery.
Wood carving: Watch a bench being carved by local artisan, Michael Weltike.
Artefacts: View displays of historical items including our foundation trowel.
Quiz time: Have a go at our Christ Church quiz, created by local children.
Biodiversity display: See what we’ve been doing to improve our church yard.
Arts & Crafts: Have a go at some Christ Church inspired arts.
Refreshments and cakes will be available throughout the event.
